An exceptional day for me: after a series of mountain climbs comes a phase where you need to be active and contribute, through simple gestures, to the development of this sector in certain regions... a hike and climb of Mount Bab N'Ouayad, 2,804 m high, supporting the remote region of Imilchil by installing an identification plaque on the mountain overlooking Lake Tislit, from which you can also see Lake Isly — a first in the eastern High Atlas, whose mountains carry no identification plaques. Since tourism in the region revolves around the Moussem Al Khottouba and hikes between the two lakes, identifying the summits will open a new branch for this region (among the most isolated and poorest areas of Morocco), thanks to a collaboration between a local team from the Chez Bassou inn and the Randomania team... Thank you for such efforts, to be encouraged and multiplied to boost mountain and rural tourism in general...
